Here in the UK the clocks ‘spring’ forward tonight for British Summer Time. Whether you like or loathe the change of routine, the definite plus is that we can enjoy an extra hour of daylight in the evenings.
But it also means our guests would have to get up early for breakfast.
That doesn’t sound like a break away from the everyday to me. So tomorrow we are cooking brunch instead.
Want to start your Sunday slowly.
We’d love to welcome you.
Wild garlic season is well underway here in Dorset (UK)
Once the flowers have faded and the seed heads have formed, try snipping the stems, place on a cake rack, set inside a roasting tin.
Dry in a cooling oven and most of the seeds fall into the tin. Blitz with an equal amount of @dorsetseasalt and store in a jar to make your own wild garlic seasoning.
We mostly use ours for bread and steak but it adds an amazing punch of flavour to all your favourite recipes. 🌱🌱
Are you a traditionalist and love classic fruited bakes. Or would you prefer a savoury version for your Hot Cross Buns.
Share your thoughts. We’d love to know.
