Ideal to shut away the everyday and find the time to reconnect.
Did you stop for lunch today?
Well, I can honestly say there was a very quick cheese sandwich scrabbled together whilst we are preparing for a busy weekend ahead. But it wasn’t this one packed with @comtecheeseuk alongside wild garlic pesto and a few pickled mushrooms.
This combo was inspired by a fun filled day with @editorkarenb when I was invited to take part in judging the very best toasted cheese 🧀 many years ago.
Hope your Friday is going well and that the weekend will be bringing joy and time out from the everyday.

Here in Dorset, gathering Ramsons has begun early this year.
Whether you whizz into a leek and potato soup, or combine with beaten eggs for a spring frittata, the verdant leaves are plentiful.
Perhaps you take a classic route and always grab a bunch of rocket, some parsley, and olive oil along with your favourite cheese to prepare vibrant dressing for a seasonal pasta dish.
There are ideas aplenty for these foraged spring greens, but it seems to us, that wild garlic is either loved or loathed.
What’s your opinion? 🌱🌱🌱
