The radiant heat from an AGA cooker is perfect to bake a fatless sponge. If you have recently inherited a preloved 2-oven AGA and planning to bake a Swiss Roll for the perfect Mothering Sunday tea, try using self raising flour rather than plain, for the classic Genoese sponge.Slide the grid shelf on to the floor of the roasting oven and the plain, cold shelf over the sponge. Reduce the baking time by at least five minutes too. This will give an even rise with a light crumb. What’s your favourite filling?#aga
