Sage green, 100% linen tea towel with garden design. Hand crafted in Cornwall by Helen Round. Tried and tested in the cookery school kitchen, and loved by our guests. The tea towels are proven to be durable and hard-wearing, and as they are created with pure linen, soften and improve with continued use.
These are the ideal cloth for drying glasses but, we think they are too pretty to be relegated to doing the ‘dishes’. The eye catching, hand drawn design makes the tea towels perfect for covering the tea tray or picnic. We also use ours to wrap the Soda Bread after baking. This helps to soften the crust.
Easy to machine wash at 30 C with no fading or distortion of the illustration. The design includes alliums, agapanthus, bluebells, hollyhocks and lupins. This makes a perfect housewarming gift for any cook or gardener. Also available as a matching set of three bowl covers, large bowl cover and reusable bread storage bag.
We love these beautiful cloths because:
- They are perfect for drying glasses and do not leave smears or fluff.
- Made with 100 % linen so they are hard wearing and durable.
- The design does not fade and the linen softens with regular use.
- Linen is an ideal fabric for use in the kitchen as it naturally repels stains.
- The hand drawn garden design is so pretty, we are sure you will find so many uses for these around the kitchen and home. We use ours to wrap freshly baked soda bread (click here for recipe) and to cover the early morning, tea tray delivered to the guest rooms.
