The apiaries are located beside their flock of free ranging hens, just a short walk from our farmhouse cookery school.

This runny honey is smooth and delicious. Perfect to drizzle on to pancakes, fresh fruit salad, add to smoothies or use as a glaze.

A pure local honey that has a taste reminiscent of watermelon and citrus finishing with the aroma of pear blossom.

There’s always a jar on the farmhouse guest breakfast table, if you would like to stay.  Now also available to enjoy at home or send as a gift too.

stored within pots that were sealed with beeswax and left undisturbed for well over 2000 years, but still perfectly edible.

How to enjoy Dorset Clear Honey from Fluffetts Family Farm in Wimborne St Giles 

 

  • Create your own salad dressings with organic cider vinegar, Dijon mustard and your favourite oil.
  • Make a light syrup using honey and apple juice to gently poach damsons, apricots or plums.  Serve with granola for breakfast or with homemade ice-cream for dessert.
  • Add a spoonful of honey to berry compotes alongside ricotta or yoghurt.
  • Roughly chop a banana, blitz together with a teaspoon of honey, a few cacao nibs, a squeeze of lemon and your favourite chilled nut drink (or plant based milk alternative) to make a quick breakfast smoothie.
  • Combine with lemon juice and fresh ginger.  Pour over hot water for a soothing drink.
  • Drizzle over a stack of buttermilk pancakes with creme fraiche or natural yoghurt on the side.
  • At breakfast time, spread on homemade toasted  sourdough  or drizzle over porridge and add your favourite toasted nuts.
