Almendra Marcona Intense Chocolate

Organic Marcona Almonds with 70% Dark Chocolate. Handmade in Spain by Carlos Ortiz.

By trading directly with the organic farmers and growers who have independent ‘market gardens’ or allotments known as ‘sachas’. Here they cultivate their cacao on small vegetable patches alongside tropical fruits and spices. The aromas from these crops impart a distinct and identifiable character to each chocolate variety.

This chocolate is then used to dip organic Marcona almonds. A handmade, gluten free and organic, chocolate treat from Spain.

Serve after dinner with coffee. An ideal gift for hosts or create your own gift hamper with a selection of artisan crafted chocolates, local honey and sweet treats.

Chocolate Organiko is crafted in Madrid, Spain. Carlos Ortiz works directly with approximately 250 independent growers and small holders. Each with own farm or market garden in Latin America and Africa. They cultivate cacao on their allotments or ‘sachas’.

The farmers also grown fruits and spices and these ingredients are used to impart flavour and aromas within the cacao. This gives the chocolate its distinctive flavour that can be traced back to its origin.

Fig Salami salamino di fichi – crafted in Calabria, Italy especially for The Fine Cheese Co. A chocolate (minimum 61% cocoa solids) pressed fig sweetmeat. Scented with orange peel with a generous glug of Rum liqueur. Serve after a meal with strong black coffee or pudding wine.
