Delicious chocolate eggs that could be easily mistaken for real, presented in a charming, yet sustainable egg box. Includes delightful illustration and detail celebrating a pair of wrens hiding amongst the spring blossom.

Madeleine Floyd is a celebrated freelance illustrator, painter, author with her own British design led lifestyle brand. Together with Chantal Coady they have collaborated to create ‘ the egg series’, a charming collection of delicious and ethically sourced chocolates.

‘The quail is a migrant bird belonging to the same family as the Pheasant. Sadly declining they are listed on the amber list but the RSPB state that numbers are now in partial recovery. More likely to be heard rather than seen, they have a distinct call which sounds like ‘pick-per-wick’ The little birds have stocky bodies and pointed wings. Their upper parts are brown with beige stripes with an undercarriage of brown speckles.’

COLOURED EGGS (white and blue) sugar, cocoa mass, praline 14% (HAZELNUTS, sugar), cocoa butter, whole MILK powder, LACTOSE, concentrated butter (MILK), enrobing agents (gum arabic, carnauba wax, beeswax, shellac), starches, cocoa powder, emulsifier: SOYA lecithin, salt, glucose syrup, natural vanilla flavouring, colouring foodstuffs (spirulina and apple concentrates, BARLEY malt extract, safflower, lemon, radish, blackcurrant and apple concentrates), colouring: E160a. Milk chocolate contains 30% minimum, 19% milk minimum. Dark chocolate contains 52% cocoa minimum.
